We don't have long now to go before our Christmas break. That also means not long until finals. Gear up. Study well. It WILL pay off in the long run.

Short Week - 4/Veterans Day

No School on Tue 11th November in honour of our

American Veterans.

Please take time to reflect on where our country would be today were it not for our veterans. Then, thank the Lord for them each who have sacrificed in various ways.

Last week we had a short week (4 days) Spelling Bee

This week is a long week ( 5 days)

The next week is a short week (4 days - we have Veterans's day the 11th off !!)

The following week is a long week (5 days)

And the last week of Nov will be an EXTRA short week (3 days) due to Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving y'all.

Short Week - 3

Hey Y'all - It's another short week - woooo hoooo and yipeeeee. A lot of teachers (including your ASL teacher) have to work on Fri (BOOO HOOO).

Y'all get lots of rest and keep your hands going - there's always time for sign. !!

Welcom back Oct.

Short Week - 2

---- I don't know 'bout y'all, but I'm really excited about this short week. Teachers will be in Orlando at the Convention Center learning things that will help us in the class and help us trying to teach all you maniacs !!!!

Short week 2

Happy labor day y'all - this week not as short as the last, but still only 4 days. You can still keep those hands moving - practice your signs and continue to think of words you can learn in sign.

I'm absent

Dear Students:

I will be absent from school on Mon 11th Aug. as my dad is having heart surgery. I will be in Central Florida. I plan on being in class on Tue. Please pray for my dad, Rev. Hodges and for the doctor doing the surgery. Thanks, Mrs. Stephens

Hey - welcome all y'all to ASL - I plan on havin a really good year with lots of fun while learning. I hopw y'all will join in on the fun and learn with me. I'm glad you're in my class. I always welcome suggestions for fun learning so start lettin me know what ya think !! As always, let me know if you don't understand something or if there's just something you want to learn to sign. Your hands are the gateway to the deaf world - as the saying goes, the more you learn the more you know and the more you know the less you don't know.
